CBA Permission Slip – NCPD Turkey Give-Away – Grades 6-8 – Nov 2024

Dear parents of students in Grades 6-8,

Your child’s class is going on a service project field trip! This is an excellent chance to further your child’s learning outside of the classroom.

Students have an opportunity to participate in the North Charleston Police Department’s Thanksgiving Turkey Give-Away event! Students will help put together bags that the police department will hand out to families.

  • Students should bring a packed lunch on this day.
  • Students in grades 6-8 will participate in this event in lieu of the CBA Thanksgiving Feast (grades 1-5).
  • Students should wear the CBA Field Study Uniform the day of the trip: the lime green CBA t-shirt and khaki pants/shorts/skirt.

The students will use personal vehicles or school bus for transportation.
