CBA ADMISSIONS AND ENROLLMENT PROCESS

CURRENT FAMILIES

In January, current families will receive an invitation to re-enroll current CBA students for the following school year.

Siblings of current CBA students will need to complete an initial application form and an enrollment packet. Please email admissions@charlestonbilingualacademy.org if you would like to apply for a sibling to attend CBA.

NEW FAMILIES

New families may inquire and apply at any time. They will be considered for the new school year once priority re-enrollment has ended for current families in February.

There is no charge to fill out this form and no commitment to enroll.

You will automatically receive an email invitation with the link to schedule an interview and tour with the headmaster once you submit an Inquiry form.

____All tours start at the Friendship Baptist Church (FBC) campus.  If you are inquiring about enrolling your child in CBA’s Elementary or Middle School, you will be invited to tour the Holmes Avenue (HABC) campus following the main tour at FBC.

After your school tour and interview with the Headmaster, the admissions office will send an invitation to submit an Application form.
To complete an application packet, families will need to:

___If applicable, provide a report documenting your student’s performance (academic and behavior) along with the parents’ good standing with prior schools (relationally and financially).

___Complete the CBA Post-Tour Questionnaire within 2 business days.

___Submit a $20 application fee and the associated credit card fee directly to FACTS Management, the host of CBA’s family portal and student database.

  4. The admissions team will review the student’s application packet and contact the family with the next steps.
All families will be notified of their application status, regardless of the enrollment decision.

If acceptance is confirmed, you will receive an email indicating that your child’s spot will be reserved for 2 business days to complete enrollment!

Enrollment is completed within the FACTS family portal.  To complete enrollment:

___Submit student records, including a SC-DHEC immunization form or SC DHEC exemption form and your child’s birth certificate.

    ___Review the Parent-Student Handbook.

    ___Pay the non-refundable Enrollment Fee.

Enrollment is not complete until all documents have been submitted and the enrollment fee has been paid.

  5. Financial Aid

Any family can apply for financial aid through FACTS Management.  Click here for details.

  6. Wait Pools
Charleston Bilingual Academy has a rolling admissions process and maintains wait pools due to high demand. If your child is placed in the wait pool for the current school year, you will be notified.

Wait pools do not carry over to the next school year. If you would your child to be considered for enrollment for future years, please submit a new application for that year when open enrollment begins in February.
