Dear parents of Kindergarten students,
Your child’s class is going on a field trip! This is an excellent chance to further your child’s learning outside of the classroom.
The three Kindergarten classes will visit Bee City Zoo to learn about bees, pollination, and other animals. We will learn about their habitats and what they eat. The children will be able to feed some of the animals and we will watch a presentation about bees and their function in the world today.
ITINERARY
8:30am – depart CBA
9:20am – arrive at Bee City Zoo
9:30am – short presentation on bees
9:50am – explore in small groups
11:00am – lunch
11:30-12:30 – explore in small groups
12:45 – depart Bee City Zoo
1:45pm – arrive at CBA
Please read these trip-specific details:
- We will eat lunch at Bee City, so students should bring their lunch and water bottle (clearly labeled).
- We will arrive at CBA after normal class time (1:45pm).
- Up to 14 students will ride on the CBA bus and the rest will ride in chaperone cars.
- Parents will need to drop off their child’s car seat or booster seat the morning of the trip.
Please complete the following steps before 3/6/24:
1) CLICK HERE to open a new tab and fill out the 23-24 Field Trip Liability Form. You may have recently filled out next year’s (24-25) Liability Form in your child’s enrollment packet, so that is all set for next year! 🙂
2) SCROLL DOWN to fill out the Bee City Zoo permission slip.
3) SUBMIT payment to CBA via VENMO.
