Dear parents of 3rd grade students,
Your child’s class is going on a field trip! This is an excellent chance to further your child’s learning outside of the classroom.
As we begin our colonial unit, students will visit the site of the first colony in South Carolina. They will attend a staff-led interactive lesson about how the colony started, explore the park and museum, see animals that the colonists interacted with, play on a colonial trade boat, and walk through buildings modeled after the colonial homes.
Students should bring their lunch with them (please remember NOT to order Food for Thought for this day) and wear a warm coat since we will be outdoors.
Inspiring world changers together,
CBA Grade 3 Teachers
