CBA Permission Slip – Grade1 Planetarium @ CBA – 1/16/24

Dear parents of first grade students,

Your child’s class is going on an “in-school” field trip! This is an excellent chance to further your child’s learning outside of the classroom.

Educators from the South Carolina Museum will bring their portable planetarium to CBA to perform a brief, general sky tour that covers basic navigation (finding north), star colors/brightness, constellations and how to identify them, Earth’s rotation and axis tilt, a brief viewing of the solar system and possibly seeing the Moon if time allows.

Students should bring their lunch as normal.

COST: $7.50

Payment should be made before Tuesday, 1/16/24, via Venmo (@charlestonbilingualacademy).

Arrival time: 8:30 AM

Program 1 with Class A: 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM

Program 2 with Class B: 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM
