Celebrate Christ-Centered Culture

Throughout the Bible we see the language of “walking with God” (Adam and Eve, Enoch, the disciples…). If you remember on your first school tour, I commented how we at CBA seek a relationship with God. Relationships are core to being human. And I love the imagery of walking through life with King Jesus. On that tour, I also referenced Galatians 5:22-23, how when we walk with Jesus, He fills our life with fruits (love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control).

At CBA, we gaze at our amazing God through staff devotions and professional development, chapels, Bible class, assembly (elementary) and advisory (middle school). In awe, we see His infiniteness and beauty in Math, His purpose and logic in Science, His story of redemption in a broken history, His power in language and so on! As we see Him, we are drawn into a joyful relationship where we are forgiven and follow Him. And as we walk with Him, TOGETHER, He transforms our relationships. By graciously experiencing whole relationships, we start becoming fully human and begin to change our world by loving others. Over the next several weeks, we will celebrate this other side of the Christian education coin, where CBA has intentionally focused on serving others through language immersion and project based and play based learning over the past decade.
