Dear parents,
In chapel (Early Childhood 5/16, Elem/MS 5/23), we will talk about the temple of God. As we talk about the temple in chapel and God’s desire to dwell within us, we will use this as an opportunity to proactively protect our children from sexual, emotional, and physical abuse. Every year I use 2 chapels to provide students with age-appropriate tools to prevent abuse. I usually share the same content so they remember it. And I always do a chapel before summer break since, unfortunately, statistically that is the most common time for abuse to happen.
