Dear Parents,

We have now completed 7 weeks without any new COVID-19 exposures. Thank you CBA family for being so cautious! Thank you Jesus for your protection!  Separately, there is a 24-hour stomach bug that has been sweeping through Charleston the last two weeks.
From Monday 3/8 to Friday 3/26, our two Kindergarten classes will be held in the blue cottage at the back of the CBA campus for a three-week adventure. A production company that began filming at the Armory Park before the pandemic needs to finish filming and has made a generous donation to CBA that covers 12 months of rent at the Armory, which frees up funds to re-grade and re-sod our soccer field!
As a result, there will be higher traffic at morning drop-off for three weeks.  We are asking Kindergarten and elementary families to try to arrive around five to ten minutes earlier to provide more time for drop-off.  We will send out a video that will show the 2 lanes. The elementary drop-off lane will be at the back entrance and the Kindergarten drop-off lane will be at the basketball courts.
The soccer field renovation will be from March 27 -April 14. We are planning a parent workday on March 27 for parents to help us lay sod on our new field 🙂
