Let’s Celebrate at CBA!

Grade 2 has been learning about schools around the world. They have studied schools in different countries all around the world as they see how other students study and learn. One of the Expected Student Outcomes (ESOs) for students at CBA is to become creative thinkers, thinkers who develop a global perspective and strive to understand and interact compassionately with all cultures. Grade 2 is now developing a friendship with a school in Honduras. Last week they sent a card to the grade 2 students at The Children’s World School (TCWS) introducing themselves. TCWS is a well-established, K-12 Christian bilingual school in Honduras that focuses on scientific learning. Mr. Brooks delivered the card and brought back a card to our students! Grade 2 will get to meet their new friends via Zoom throughout this year. We look forward to further connections as we learn from them and seek to show them God’s love. Our desire is to build a partnership with this school, inviting them to visit us in the future and sending older students or families to Honduras and be a blessing to them. Thank you Grade 2 for becoming world changers by caring for others, no matter where they are from!
