Please help us welcome retired First Sergeant Lenny Johnson. He officially joins the CBA team as the Director of Facilities and Security on Tuesday.
Mr. Johnson retired from the Army after 24 years of service during which he earned two Purple Hearts. “A Purple Heart is a solemn distinction and means a service member has greatly sacrificed themselves, or paid the ultimate price, while in the line of duty”, according to the USO.
He will put his extensive experience to use at CBA (in part) working with our staff and students on our lockdown and security drills. The addition of Mr. Johnson is another signal that our school is growing, and we take the safety and security of our students and campus very seriously.
Mr. Johnson loves Jesus and is becoming a member at Friendship Baptist Church. He is the father of one of our students. He originally came to CBA via his brother and sister-in-law, Master Sergeant Rich and Dr. Angie Johnson, who roped him into volunteering his time on various projects last year.
