Your child’s class is going on a field trip! This is an excellent chance to further your child’s learning outside of the classroom.

The purpose of this field trip is to learn about:

• weather forecasting
• what instruments are used
• the role of meteorologists
• natural disasters
• natural disaster prevention measures 
• how we can take care of our planet

Transportation: The students will use personal vehicles and the school bus for transportation.
