January 6: Re-Enrollment Now Open

Dear Families of World Changers,

Priority re-enrollment invitations will be emailed to returning families on January 6! 

First, please watch this video from Head of School, Dr. Nate Johnson, with important announcements about tuition, payments, and scholarships.

Next, please read all of the important details below.

CBA programs start at 2 years old and placement is based on the student’s age on September 1, 2025. 

Timeline

January 6:  Priority re-enrollment opens to CURRENT CBA families! Returning students may re-enroll and siblings of returning students may apply to enroll.

  • See the instructions below on how to re-enroll in FACTS.

  • NEW for 26-27: Instead of an enrollment fee, families will submit a non-refundable downpayment on tuition directly to FACTS.  When submitting the enrollment packet, FACTS will prompt you to submit the $255 non-refundable downpayment, so that all steps are done at once!  

  • NEW for 26-27: Submit your enrollment packet and the $255 non-refundable downpayment by January 23 to receive a $50 tuition credit!

January 23: Last day to submit an enrollment packet and $255 non-refundable downpayment to receive a $50 tuition credit.

February 1: Last day for current families to re-enroll with priority

February 2: Enrollment opens to NEW families

 

ESTF application window:

NOW:  Use this tool provided by the Palmetto Promise program to check your student’s eligibility for the ESTF scholarship program if he or she will be in Kindergarten or above next year! 

January 15 – February 8: The ESTF application window opens at 8am on January 15 for priority groups with students entering Kindergarten and above (Household income at or below 300% FPL, OR active-duty parent or guardian stationed in SC, OR prior year public school attendance)

February 9: ESTF Applications open for anyone with a household income up to 500% FPL 

Steps to Re-Enroll

To re-enroll a RETURNING student:
  • Log in to the FACTS Family Portal (district code: CB-SC).
  • Go to the left-side Navigation Menu and click on Apply/Enroll.
  • Click Enrollment/Reenrollment.
  • Complete the enrollment packet and pay the $255 non-refundable downpayment.
  • One parent/guardian is designated in FACTS as the “Enrollment responsible” person to complete each student’s enrollment packet and should receive an email invitation to re-enroll on 1/6/26. 
  • If you need to change the “Enrollment responsible” parent/guardian, please email CBA Registrar Melissa Martinez Sierra (records@charlestonbilingualacademy.org) and she can update this right away.
  • Current families will NOT automatically receive an invoice for the downpayment.
  • Once you complete your enrollment packet, the last step will be to click Review and Pay.
  • FACTS charges a credit card fee, but the total cost for parents with this fee included should be $255.

To APPLY for a sibling who did not attend CBA during the 25-26 school year:

  • Log in to the FACTS Family Portal (district code: CB-SC).
  • Go to the left-side Navigation Menu and click on Apply/Enroll.
  • Go to the left-side Navigation Menu and click Application.  Complete the 26-27 Application form.  There is an application fee and an associated credit card charge paid directly to FACTS to submit the form. ***PLEASE NOTE: A completed application form does not guarantee acceptance/enrollment.
  • The office will confirm whether there is a spot available, and if so, they will create an enrollment packet for the sibling and email the next steps to the family.

  • If enrollment is confirmed, families may complete the enrollment packet and pay the
    $255 non-refundable downpayment.

 Enrollment confirmation – The admissions team will review all packets and send a confirmation email to let you know whether your child’s packet is complete or needs revision.

**Re-enrollment is not confirmed until the enrollment packet is complete and the non-refundable tuition downpayment has been paid.

***Enrollment opens to new families on February 2. 

Financial Aid



  • If you’d like to apply for financial assistance, please be sure to first apply for the SC ESTF program. This application is time-sensitive. 
  • Families may also apply for CBA financial aid through FACTS Management by clicking here. 
  • This is a different site than the FACTS Family Portal.  **When applying for financial aid through the FACTS Management system, the school will first verify that students entering Kindergarten and above have attempted to apply for the SC ESTF program.
