CBA Permission Slip – Kindergarten Field Trip to Bee City Zoo March 2025

Dear parents of Kindergarten students,

Your child’s class is going on a field study trip! This is an excellent chance to further your child’s learning outside of the classroom.

The purpose of this trip is to learn about God’s creation, animals’ different characteristics, how to care for God’s creation, and the variety of foods animals eat.  We will feed lots of different animals!

Trip Date: March 12, 2025

Lead Teachers: Luisana Serrano, Ingrid Escobar

Destination: Bee City Zoo, 1066 Holly Ridge Ln, Cottageville, SC 29435 

Cost: $15.00 per student

Transportation:  Students will ride either on the CBA bus or in chaperones’ personal vehicles, at the discretion of CBA.

ITINERARY
8:20am – Depart CBA
9:20am – Arrive at Bee City Zoo
9:30am – Nature presentation
9:45am – Break for snack and bathrooms
10:10am – Explore Bee City in small groups and feed the large animals & monkeys
12:00pm – Eat lunch at the picnic table area
12:20pm – Depart for CBA
1:00pm – Arrive at CBA ***PLEASE NOTE that this is 15 minutes later than normal pick up time.

 

TRIP DETAILS:

  • We will eat lunch at Bee City, so students should bring their lunch, snack, and water bottle (clearly labeled). 
  • We will arrive at CBA after normal class time (1:00pm).
  • Students should wear the mint green CBA Fun Run shirt IF possible.  If you don’t have the mint green CBA shirt, a CBA shirt is preferable, but ANY shirt is fine. Students should also wear shoes that are comfortable for walking.
  • Parents should drop off their child’s car seat or booster seat the morning of the trip.


Please complete the following steps before Sunday, 3/9/25:

1) SCROLL DOWN to fill out the Bee City Zoo permission slip.

2) SUBMIT payment to CBA via VENMO.
