It’s that time of year – Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Collection! This year, CBA, FBC and HABC are partnering to collect boxes for this ministry from November 18-22.
We invite CBA families to participate!
1) Visit the Samaritan’s Purse website to read more about the Operation Christmas Child history and mission and join the prayer network.
2) Click here to find out how to pack a box.
3) On November 8, pick up an empty box and label at the Fall Festival.
4) After November 8, parents can pick up boxes at drop-off or pick-up. Once we run out of empty boxes, families can use their own shoeboxes or order colorful preprinted ones.
5) November 16 @ 10am – Holmes Avenue Baptist Church will be hosting a Packing Party (see flyer in the HABC events section).
6) Families also have the option to build a box online! Call or text us to let us know if you completed this option so that we can include it in our prayers and box count! You can find the shoebox count GOAL PAGE here.
7) Drop-off dates
November 5-18 @ FBC and HABC – drop off boxes at the HABC front office or at the FBC campus main entrance under the Welcome sign.
November 19-22 @ FBC only – all boxes should be dropped off to FBC; the HABC elem/MS classes will not be able to accept boxes after November 18 in preparation for the Thanksgiving events.
November 22 – last day to drop off filled boxes to FBC to be counted in the CBA total
(Families may drop off boxes directly to FBC or HABC through Sunday, November 24 at 11am.)
8) A team of CBA students will check the boxes and church members will pray over them before taking them to the local collection site at HABC.
