We are celebrating our 10th Birthday on Giving Tuesday! (December 3, 2024) Over the past 10 weeks, we’ve joyfully celebrated our journey, reflecting on memories and seeing God’s handiwork in our school, students, families, and community.
And now we are excited to announce that gifts made during our Birthday celebration on Giving Tuesday will directly benefit our amazing teachers and staff. Here’s how:
Thanks to the generous support of CBA friends, we have $50,000 in matching donations!
We are raising $30,000 for our teacher endowment fund. A CBA grandmother is offering a $30,000 MATCH towards an endowment with the goal of raising $10M over the next 10 years. This endowment will eventually generate $600K annually, helping us provide competitive salaries that match public school compensation.
We are also raising $20,000 for the Paid Time Off fund. We need to meet the $20,000 matching funds to increase our Paid Time Off (PTO) fund. We want to offer eight days of paid time off. Each semester we will pay teachers back for up to 4 unused days, which provides a nice bonus twice a year.
*Spread the word! You never know who might want to give! A grandmother is offering $30,000. A friend of a donor is offering $7,500. Friends at church are offering $11,000… Even if you are not able to give, you might be surprised by who can give. These donations are key to attracting and retaining the best educators for our students.
