January 24: Re-Enrollment Opens!

Dear Families of World Changers,

We have exciting news – priority re-enrollment opens this week in the FACTS Family Portal! 

Starting January 24, current CBA families will be able to access their returning student’s re-enrollment packet, complete a new student application form for new siblings, and pay the discounted enrollment fee to confirm their spot. 

CBA programs start at 2 years old and placement is based on the student’s age on September 1, 2024.

2024 CBA Elementary/Middle School Wellness Week was a Success!

PBL (Project Based Learning) always begins with a question as students seek to do real work to solve real needs of real people. In Spanish class, our third grade students have been asking, “Si quiero cambiar el mundo, ¿cómo puedo mantenerme saludable para poder amar a los demás?” (If I want to change the world, how can I stay healthy so I can love others?). Throughout semester 1 students learned about the incredible body God created, from the smallest unit of DNA to the study of the brain, healthy food, and body systems. They wrapped up their semester 1 with Wellness Week, a time to share their learning with others and invite all of CBA to be healthy world changers!

March 23: Join Team CBA to Walk for Water

Join CBA’s Walk-for-Water Team! Use the QR code above to sign up your family to join CBA at Water Mission’s Walk-for-Water event. When you register, make sure to join the “CBA- Mighty Oak World Changers” team. The walk will be on Saturday, March 23. If you want to make an additional donation to Water Mission, you may do so when you sign up to walk. 3rd and 4th grade Mighty Oaks have had several opportunities to grow in their learning of American History outside the classroom this past semester with field studies to Old Santee & Fort Sumter.

Pizza Friday for K5- Middle School (Semester 2)

Pizza Friday is now offered to K5 – Middle School!

Pizza Friday is sponsored by the PTF and our largest fundraiser of the year. $5 gets your student two slices of cheese pizza, delivered during their lunch. This happens twice per month on Friday’s listed below.

Join CBA at Huey Magoos for our second Spirit Night of the year! CBA will earn 20% of sales during this time.

Friendship Baptist Church
Pastors Mark Timmons and John Lane welcome you to Friendship Baptist Church (FBC) and invite you to worship with them each Sunday at 11 am. Bilingual services are held in English and Spanish on the 1st and 3rd Sunday every month.
