At Charleston Bilingual Academy, we believe a high-quality education should be accessible to all families, regardless of their financial situation.

available options Families may apply for 1) the SC ESTF scholarship program and/or 2) CBA tuition assistance. Both require applications through a third-party platform, FACTS Management. These are separate from the enrollment application in the FACTS Family Portal.

SC ESTF Scholarship Program

If your family is eligible, please be sure to first apply for the SC ESTF program. The Palmetto NavigatED website is an excellent resource for parents to check eligibility, learn about required documentation, and view detailed webinars on how to apply.

Important Dates

November 1, 2025 ESTF renewal window opens! Current recipients and siblings may apply. Priority window closes Jan 14, 2026.
December 31, 2025 Third Disbursement of $1875 loaded to 25-26 recipients’ accounts.
Jan 15 – Feb 8, 2026 Application window opens for Priority Groups (Household income ≤ 300% FPL, Active-duty parents, or prior public school attendance).
February 9, 2026 Applications open for anyone with household income up to 500% FPL.
February 28, 2026 Fourth Disbursement of $1875 loaded to 25-26 recipients’ accounts.

If Approved: Next Steps

  • 1 Read the ESTF Participant Handbook and set up ClassWallet.
  • 2 Inform the CBA Finance Office (finance@charlestonbilingualacademy.org) once ClassWallet is set up. They will provide an invoice.
    **Ensure your contact info matches the FACTS Family Portal to avoid delays.
  • 3 Follow the instructions at this link on how to “Pay a Vendor” using ClassWallet by uploading your CBA invoice.

CBA will require and verify that you have applied first to the SC ESTF program (if eligible) before making decisions for the disbursement of any other financial aid through the FACTS Management System for the 26-27 school year.

CBA Tuition Assistance

(All ages)

Families may also apply for financial aid directly from CBA. When applying for CBA financial aid, the school will first verify that students entering 5K and above have attempted to apply for the SC ESTF program.

Important Details

  • Processing Fee: FACTS charges a non-refundable $45 processing fee.
  • Annual Renewal: Assistance is awarded on a one-year basis; returning families must reapply each year.
  • Timing: Submissions begin in January. Complete this process alongside your admission or re-enrollment application.
  • Account Access: While FACTS processes enrollment, the Financial Aid Portal is separate. You will need to create a specific account for aid if you have never applied through FACTS before.
