This past month, 3rd and 4th grade focused on learning to read, write, and recite poetry. Here you can see their final drafts of their original poetry hung on the walls of the Armory, while they also had the opportunity to memorize and perform group and individual poems that revolved around the American history they were studying. It is wonderful to see their creativity blooming this spring!

To kick off registration opening for kids Spanish and Mandarin summer classes, we are celebrating with early bird pricing: 20% off ALL classes! The second annual Framily Fun Run at CBA, which is our big Spring Fundraiser, will be Friday, April 7. This year, we are focusing this on raising funds to “Grow CBA,” and plan to use the funds for building playgrounds on the Friendship and Holmes Avenue campuses.

CBA students love to talk about chapel. At CBA, we want to make sure that our children can connect to the stories at their level. During chapel, they get to move and sing joyously, and teachers have objects, pictures, and people portraying the story–anything that can communicate the story in a memorable way.

March 22: CBA 5-6 Grade Hosting

CBA 5-6th graders are hosting a Water Crisis Day, Wednesday, March 22. At morning assembly they will teach the elementary students about the water crisis. CBA families will be able to purchase lemonade and water balloons during recess. There will be water balloon tosses and a water balloon fight (students against the teachers)!

Thanks to CBA photographer Danielle Ward, this year’s CBA Yearbook (2022-2023) is now available to order!
1 yearbook – $28
2 yearbooks – $50
Online ordering ends on March 31 so that we receive the yearbooks in May. The yearbooks will arrive at CBA and we will send them home with your child.
