Don't forget to re-enroll your world changer for the 23-24 school year! If you already submitted your child's enrollment packet and fee- thank you very much! We are reviewing the packets and will send a confirmation or request for more information. Please don't forget-
SC law requires that the school have an up-to-date DHEC immunization OR exemption from on file for each student.

Creating a Culture of Fostering & Adoption

There is a major need for families to foster and adopt children in our state right now.

In the last report from the Department of Social Services in July 2022, there were more than 237 children in foster care in Charleston County alone. In Berkeley County, there were 150, and in Dorchester County, there were 56. There simply aren’t enough foster homes for all of these children.

February 11: EC Parent University Neurodiversity Luncheon

We have extended (through today) the registration for our Latin American free lunch with free babysitting to hear a presentation on neurodiversity. It will be this Saturday 12-2. Click below for more information and the register.

Did you know that more and more, kids are being identified as neurodiverse? Neurodiversity includes ADHD, dyslexia, Asperger’s, Sensory Processing Disorder, etc. For example, children in the Autism spectrum are now 1 in 44, kids identified as ADHD are 1 in 10, etc. Make sure to come and learn more about how to support a unique child in your life (your own, your relation, your friend’s).

Invitation to Friendship Baptist Church

FBC welcomes all current and potential CBA families to worship with us every Sunday! 

FBC offers Adult Sunday School, Coffee Connection, Bilingual Worship, Children's Church, Park Circle Youth Groups and more!

This month:

• This year, Park Circle Youth will meet every 1st and 3rd Sunday at FBC. Every 2nd and 4th Sunday, FBC Youth will meet at the home of Nate and Rossana Johnson.  All youth 10 and older are invited to join!
• On February 26, FBC will host an outreach opportunity at Recycled Love on Remount Rd starting at 9am; all CBA families are invited to join!
