CBA Family Field Trip This Saturday, April 29

Saturday, April 29 at 9:30 AM, IF weather allows AND there are enough strawberries, we will try to meet up as a group. We will confirm on Friday which local farm has strawberries still and announce it that day. Fields can be picked over in a couple of days, plus we are dealing with nature so no guarantees.

Celebration of Learning for Grades 1-6: Monday, May 22, 1:00 – 2:30

You will get to hear your children present as a class and then walk through classrooms and hear them explain their learning from this year. You won’t want to miss this opportunity to celebrate with them all that has happened this year!

Private Spanish Classes for Adults Now Available!

Language on Mission (LOM) is offering PRIVATE online adult Spanish classes for the next 3 weeks! Yes!  Get all your Spanish questions answered in a completely personalized, one-on-one format.

-Choose from 25 minute ($20) or 50 minute ($35) class lengths

Avoid the "Summer Slide" with LOM

Here’s your friendly reminder to make plans now in order to keep up your child’s language progress over the summer break. The “summer slide” is real, but by being proactive you can prevent learning regression and even make forward progress over the summer!

CBA’s online language program, Language on Mission (LOM), offers Spanish & Mandarin classes for 6 weeks over the summer. Choose the dates & times that work with your schedule, with discounts available the more classes you take. Email LOM Director Pam Davis (pam@languageonmission.org) with any questions!

Parker’s Kitchen gas stations have a program called “Fueling the Community”. They give a portion of gas sales to local schools and CBA is a school that you can support! Download their app today & pick CBA.

Invitation to Friendship Baptist Church

FBC welcomes all current and potential CBA families to worship with us every Sunday at 11am!

FBC offers adult Sunday School, Coffee Connection, bilingual worship, Children’s Church, youth groups, grace groups and more!

Each service streams on Facebook Live. 

This month:

• Bilingual services are held in English & Spanish on the 1st and 3rd Sunday every month.
• For the next few months, we will learn from the book of Titus during Sunday worship services. 
• Park Circle Youth meets every 1st and 3rd Sunday at FBC. Every 2nd and 4th Sunday, FBC Youth meets at the home of Nate and Rossana Johnson.  All youth 10 and older are invited to join!
