What a blessing and beautiful surprise Second grade students had! In our project to be better writers, today we had a super special guest; Mrs. Lane came as an author and a guest writer, she shared with us the two books she has written and what inspired her to write her beautiful books, Parker Mae and Her Pink Elephant and Camels in Coats. Today the students were also inspired by Mrs. Lane and her books.

COST: FREE but must RSVP HIP-HIP HOORAY! It’s almost Christmas! We are excited that we will all be able to be under one roof for this year’s Christmas concert (as was our tradition in years past). In order to fit everyone, including grandparents, neighbors, and friends, we have found a new space: NewSpring Church. Several CBA families attend this church, which accommodates 1000+, but they need to know how many chairs to put out. So please, RSVP by 12/1/22 through this Evite link. $5 gets two slices of cheese pizza, delivered to their classroom during their lunch time. This is PTF’s main fundraiser and has been a huge hit amongst the kids!

Friendship Baptist Church’s 8th Annual Gingerbread House Decorating Contest. This is a free event and will be Saturday Dec. 10th at Friendship Baptist’s basketball courts. There will be two sessions with limited to 30 kids per session. The first session will begin at 10:00 AM and the second session will begin at 11:00 AM. Everything you need to build your perfect gingerbread house will be supplied!
*Prizes and lunch will be at Noon! Hot Cocoa and pastries available at 10.
