November 29: Giving Tuesday
CBA’s goal for GivingTuseday is $30,000 and we already have a $10,000 match from a CBA parent! The GivingTuesday donations will be used to provide Christmas bonuses for our faculty and staff. Letter Reversal and Mirror Writing- - Should You Be Concerned?

It’s completely normal for children to write “backward” as late as age 8. In addition to letter and number reversals, some children will truly write in mirror image: going from right to left with all the letters reversed. The brain doesn’t completely form the concept of left and right until somewhere between ages five and eight. That means almost all children will have persistent reversals when they first start writing.

Let's Keep Everyone Healthy
CBA partners with parents to keep our community healthy. CBA, like the general population in SC, has experienced high cases of respiratory disease, including influenza, early this season. Since the beginning of the school year, there have also been cases of the common childhood disease Hand Foot and Mouth Disease (HFMD), as well as cases of strep throat, both of which are highly contagious.
