We are thrilled to organize Teacher Appreciation Week again this year! 

The original deadline to send donations was Friday, April 19, but there is still time to donate $15 per student via Venmo to @Angela-Moreland-Johnson, Cashapp $Rich14Ever or ApplePay 843-513-3365. If you want to donate more, please do.

This is for ALL teachers at both campuses, FBC AND HABC.

We asked teachers what would be the most meaningful gift and the overwhelming response was gift cards and meals.  We would like to raise enough funds to give all teachers a substantial gift card as well as provide either breakfast or lunch each day during the week of May 6-10.

We also plan to deliver thoughtful surprises each day (more details to come).

As always, thank you for your support and trust as we show our teachers how much we love them!

CBA Won Its First Official Soccer Game, 2-1!

CBA won its first official soccer game Thursday night, 2-1!

We are playing in the CAPS soccer league for elementary schools in the North Charleston area and will have a game on these dates:

April 25 @ 5:30pm
May 2 @ 5:30pm
May 9 @ 7:30pm

Grade 7 and Grade 4 students are becoming courageous leaders through providing school tours to visiting grandparents and leading small groups during chapel time each week, respectively.

All CBA middle School students enjoyed attending the Gaillard Center performance of Show Way, Kennedy Center Education Artist-in-Residence Jacqueline Woodson’s award-winning story of history, love, and resilience – a tribute to women in Woodson’s own family whose strength and knowledge illuminate their daughters’ lives over seven generations.

Thank you to everyone who attended last week’s PTF meeting. As discussed in the meeting, PTF is growing and looking for new leaders for next school year. With the expansion of CBA, we need YOUR help in continuing to support our teachers and create opportunities for the CBA community to come together.

Friendship Baptist Church
Pastors Mark Timmons and John Lane welcome you to Friendship Baptist Church (FBC) and invite you to worship with them each Sunday at 11 am. Bilingual services are held in English and Spanish on the 1st and 3rd Sunday every month.
