Friday, October 7, is our second ER Friday of the school year. Please take note of the details below: 1. CBA Kindergarten will have regularly scheduled classes from 8:15am – 12:45pm. The CBA 5K Aftercare will still meet from 12:45pm – 3:15pm on Friday, October 7.
2. Soccer will be from 1:45-2:40 that day.

Early Childhood Tip of the Week

Thank you for sending your children with comfortable shoes for PE and raincoats, so thay can still play outside when it is raining lightly! The teachers ask that you would please not send shoes with shoelaces until the child can tie his or her own shoelaces. When it thunders, we use our Dojo as a safe place to run and play but the special floor requires that kids take their shoes off. Imagine trying to help half a dozen preschoolers get their shoes back on and tied on those days or re-tying them all day because they keep coming undone. Gracias por su ayuda!

THANK YOU to everyone who showed up on Saturday to clean up the school/church/neighborhood after the storm! We were especially thankful to see everyone at school on Monday and are in prayer for those affected by Hurricane Ian. CBA families, It is time for Pack the Pantry! Same location, back entrance by the soccer field. This month we are also going to try out a Venmo feature. If you would like to participate but getting to the store and remembering to bring it is overwhelming, then send us a few bucks through Venmo and we’ll shop for you!

It’s that time of year again! Get ready to clean out your closets and toy rooms! The CBA PTF is holding the annual Swap & Shop. You do not have to give in order to receive and everything is FREE! Drop off donations no later than October 12 to the Danny Jones Building (gymnasium across from the Armory) or Charleston Bilingual Academy.
