CBA partners with Charleston International Music School (CIMS), which offers music lessons here at the school. Ruben Camacho, the CIMS Founder & Director, obtained his BM from the Juilliard School and has performed all over the world. January 17-20: CBA Elementary Wellness Week

Grades 3 and 4 are excited to conclude their project-based learning (PBL) study on the human body by sponsoring the first CBA Elementary Wellness Week!  An important aspect of PBL is to do real work for a real need for real people. Grades 3 and 4 are excited to share with the rest of CBA the real need to live a healthy lifestyle. Click here to see all of the activities!

Dear CBA Families, We are gearing up for the 2023-2024 school year and give all the glory to God for such growth! This year, we have almost 280 students and next year, we anticipate enrolling 320 students.  We have a waitlist for several classes this year and want to prioritize our current families being able to re-enroll and keep their spots next year. *There is a 5 student minimum and a 15 student limit

Semester 2: Pizza Fridays for
K5- Grade 6

Thank you for your support of our PTF Pizza Friday Fundraiser! With the funds raised, we had a lovely catered holiday lunch for our amazing teachers and staff. Pizza Friday will start again in February. The total cost for Semester 2 is $35 per child. Please pay in full no later than January 31. Click here for all of the details.

EC Tip of the Week: EC Parent University Neurodiversity Luncheon

CBA would like to offer CBA families access to some of the amazing training that our staff receives during the year. Our first session will be “Wondrous Brains: Neurodiversity”. Neurodiversity professionals and CBA parents will share experiences and knowledge they have on the subject. Click here for more information and the register.

Reminder to ALWAYS pack a snack!

We wanted to remind everyone that your child will ALWAYS need to bring a snack to school. Many classes have snack time earlier in the mornings before lunch. Therefore, if CBA has early release, early dismissal or Pizza Friday your child will still need to bring a snack.

The CBA Father Daughter Dance details are below. Please register by January 24.
 
When: February 4, 2023
Where: Armory, 5000 Lackawanna Blvd. North Charleston
Who: All CBA girls and their Dads (or any substituting adult)
Time: 5:30-7:00 pm
Cost: $15 for each couple, An additional $5 for each additional daughter.
