Day of Love and Friendship
Social-emotional learning and self regulation are important goals in our early childhood program. This month, students are leaning on the theme inspired by Valentine's Day of Friendship. In Latin America, this celebration is known as "Dia del amor y la amistad" or "Day of Love and Friendship." We will be reading stories such as the "Ugly Duckling", which builds empathy in kids for those who might be perceived as different. As soon as students walk into class, they are greeted by messages of love.

Godly Trait of the Month
The Godly Trait of the Month for February is compassion. We explain to students this word means seeing and meeting the needs of others and helping those who are hurting.

Enrollment
Thank you to everyone who enrolled for the 2022-23 school year. We are still processing student records. If you are having trouble uploading your child’s updated records, please call the office for assistance. Nearly all of our classes are full and we are starting waiting lists. We have designed our class size with the utmost consideration.

Lunch Service
After conducting our survey about a school-wide lunch service and considering the logistics, we've determined it's not the time to move forward with a lunch service program at school right now. We appreciate your time in giving us feedback.

Blood Drive
Sign up now for our school-wide blood drive on Friday, February 25. The school earns $20 per completed donation. The average impact is $500 per blood drive event.

Kids on Mission, FREE class
Our Kids on Mission virtual learning program is underway! But there is still time to enroll in the program. Plus, this month you can try a class for free from February 7 through February 25.

FEBRUARY 18, 2022 - Early release for K-5th grade. No lunch bunch. No sports.
FEBRUARY 21-22, 2022 - Winter Break. No class.
FEBRUARY 25, 2022 - Blood drive at CBA from 8:00 am until 1:00 pm.
MAY 25, 2022 - Last day of preschool.
MAY 27, 2022 - Last day for elementary-age students.
