Dear Parents, I would like to welcome all of you to our school family! We are grateful for all of our returning families who have helped make CBA the school it is today and for those who are joining for the first time. We believe that parents are our partners in education. We truly embrace and live out our mission statement, “partnering with parents to inspire world changers through Christ-centered, intercultural, language-immersion education.” As our elementary students will tell you, we desire to be the “most loving school on the planet.” In God’s goodness and wisdom, you are your child’s primary educator and we are grateful to come alongside you and help form children who are change agents in this world instead of just going with the cultural flow. Please read our “getting started” information below, and take the time to read our Parent and Student Handbook and Belief Statements. I would also like to share some recommendations as you prepare your future world changers for success at CBA. Your understanding and support are essential to the formation of our school culture. I look forward to getting to know each family individually and being an active part of creating an environment in which your child can grow in confidence, skill, and knowledge of the Triune God’s love. TUITION AND PAYMENTS
You will receive your first monthly invoice from Quickbooks starting on July 1, 2022. The tenth and last tuition invoice will be sent on April 1, 2023. - Tuition is an annual fee divided into 10 monthly payments for the school year, each due one month in advance.
- Payments after the 10th of each month will have a $25 late fee.
- A family risks losing their spot if the first payment is not made by the 10th of July and the office has not been notified.
- You can find 2022-2023 tuition information here.
- Tuition payments are not refundable.
There are several ways to submit payments to the school: - Venmo - You can make payments to CBA through the Venmo app for no additional charge (debit card or direct deposit). Use our Venmo username @charlestonbilingualacademy or type in Charleston Bilingual to make payments.
- Check - Please deposit into the office drop-box or mail checks to:
5032 Lackawanna Blvd, North Charleston, SC 29405 - Direct deposit - You may request that we send you a Quickbooks invoice to pay via direct deposit from your bank.
- Credit card - Email finance@charlestonbilingualacademy.org if you would like to request an authorization form to pay by credit card; there is a 6% processing fee.
- Money order - There is a 6% processing fee.
STUDENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

Start using Gibbon NOW to: - Read the CBA Parent-Student Handbook (last updated May 2022)
- Maintain Required Student Records
- Select People > Data Updater > Personal Data
- Upload a copy of your child's Birth Certificate
- Upload a copy of your child's SC DHEC Immunization Form or Religious Exemption form.
- Select People > Data Updater > Medical Data
- Enter your child's insurance and physician info
- Register and sign waivers for Extracurricular activities (Lunch Bunch, Kindergarten Aftercare, Sports) - see details below
During the school year, parents will be able to: - Register for volunteer and chaperone opportunities
- Sign permission slips and chaperone forms
- View report cards and MAP test scores
Email admissions@charlestonbilingualacademy.org if you have issues logging in. EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES LUNCH BUNCH (early childhood education) - This optional program is from 11:55pm-12:25pm
- Lunch Bunch starts the first day of school
- LB registration opens in July - stay tuned!
- Once you subscribe, your first charge for Lunch Bunch will appear on your August invoice for August and September Lunch Bunch
