April 7: CBA 2nd Annual Fun Run

This Friday, April 7 is CBA’s 2nd Annual Fun Run Fundraiser to help “Grow CBA”. Funds will be used for building playgrounds on the Friendship and Holmes Avenue campuses.
One of our goals is to have 100% of each CBA class registered for the Fun Run. Once each class has 100% of students registered, the class will receive a fun bracelet!

As I watched our grade 1 students paint the window in their classroom, my heart was captured. The beauty of the cross shone forth, both in the painting and in the faces of the students. But beauty from a cross? How can that be? The cross was meant to be one of the most cruel forms of punishment, one reserved for the worst of criminals. A punishment of intense pain, an execution. How can we call it beautiful?

Keep Up Language Skills Over the Summer

Here’s your friendly reminder to make plans now in order to keep up your child’s language progress over the summer break. The “summer slide” is real, but by being proactive you can prevent learning regression and even make forward progress over the summer!
CBA's online language program, Language on Mission (LOM), offers Spanish and Mandarin classes for 6 weeks over the summer. Choose the dates & times that work with your schedule, with discounts available the more classes you take. Email LOM Director Pam Davis (pam@languageonmission.org) with any questions!

CBA has purchased Parent Resource books that you can informally checkout and will be available at Parent Connect & PTF Meetings. The books help to support us specifically with raising kids to know and love Jesus!
We would also like to grow our books to ones that we can read TO our kids. If you would like to purchase a book or two to donate, you can do so by clicking here. Books will ship to a parent volunteer who will label and have ready for the next Parent Connect!

FBC welcomes all current and potential CBA families to worship with us every Sunday at 11am! FBC offers adult Sunday School, Coffee Connection, bilingual worship, Children’s Church, youth groups, grace groups and more! Each service streams on Facebook Live. This month: - Join us in the FBC sanctuary for the 7 Sayings of the Cross on Good Friday, April 7, 6:30-7:30pm, sponsored by parkcirclechurches.com.
- Easter Sunday service will be April 9 at 11:00am.
- Bilingual services are held in English & Spanish on the 1st and 3rd Sunday every month.
- For the next few months, we will learn from the book of Titus during Sunday worship services.
- Park Circle Youth meets every 1st and 3rd Sunday at FBC. Every 2nd and 4th Sunday, FBC Youth meets at the home of Nate and Rossana Johnson. All youth 10 and older are invited to join!
