We'd like to introduce you to our newest addition to the CBA staff, whom you may have already seen welcoming families!
Randy Isbell is a CBA father of 2 boys and a CBA wrestling coach. He studied criminal justice in college while wrestling, and went on to compete in MMA and submission grappling, becoming a NAGA world champion!!! Randy coached MMA for many years. During and since college he has worked in security, and then went on to work in retail and project management for 20+ years, managing hundreds of employees. Please help us welcome Randy, who will be on campus this month preparing for next school year!
Next year, Lenny Johnson, our Director of Security and Facilities, will be stationed at the Holmes Avenue campus and Randy will serve as the Security Lead at the Friendship Campus.

May 16: Chapel on Preventing Abuse, Letter to Parents

Dear parents, In chapel (Early Childhood 5/16, Elem/MS 5/23), we will talk about the temple of God. As we talk about the temple in chapel and God’s desire to dwell within us, we will use this as an opportunity to proactively protect our children from sexual, emotional, and physical abuse. Every year I use 2 chapels to provide students with age-appropriate tools to prevent abuse. I usually share the same content so they remember it. And I always do a chapel before summer break since, unfortunately, statistically that is the most common time for abuse to happen.

On Thursday, May 18, international speaker and CBA parent, Chris Singleton, will be leading chapel. He provides such a beautiful word of how perfect love drives out fear and hate.
