CBA Afterschool Activities will begin September 19th!

Afterschool activities begin August 19 – it’s not too late to sign up. *Please note this date was incorrect on the school calendar but we have updated it.

We have started a waitlist for these fall activities: STEM and basketball.

CBA High School is Here!

This year CBA will have its first set of students beginning to earn High School credit! Beginning in the spring of 2025, students will be given the opportunity to earn high school Spanish credits at the end of grade 7 and grade 8.

The Acorn Hut: The Young Entrepreneurs Club

The Young Entrepreneur's Club will start selling CBA branded school supplies beginning this fall. Our goal is to learn the basic fundamentals of running a business while giving back to our school.

FACTS Family Portal: Using the Family Demographic Form to Update Important Information

Parents, you can update your child’s information, including emergency contacts, authorized pick-up contacts, photo permissions, and other information in the FACTS Family Portal using the Family Demographic Form at any time during the year.  The beginning of the school year is the best time to check that all of the information is still accurate; please be sure to keep your family's information up-to-date at all times!

Communication: ClassDojo and the Newsletter

CBA will continue to use ClassDojo to communicate announcements this year.  You may download the ClassDojo app on your phone or use the desktop version.  Returning families can log in and see their child's new class immediately.  New families will receive an email invitation to join your child's class for FREE.  You may need to click "x" or "No thanks" to decline the upgraded version.  Please check ClassDojo for important reminders about next week and email records@charlestonbilingualacademy.org if you have any issues connecting to ClassDojo.
Please also check your email for the CBA newsletter that is sent once a week, and email news@charlestonbilingualacademy.org if you do not see the newsletter in your inbox or Spam/Promotions folder on Mondays.

Important: How to View Monthly Invoices

Upon enrollment, CBA families are registered in Quickbooks and receive a monthly invoice emailed from Clapham Education Group/Quickbooks for annual tuition installments from July to April.  If your child participates in activities such as Lunch Bunch, Clubs, or Sports, those charges will appear on your invoice.  ***It is important to always click the link to open the invoice and view the specific charges.

Looking for afterschool care?  Some of our teachers provide bilingual nanny services to current and potential CBA students completely independent of the school, and parents are welcome to contact them directly.  Here is the link to their contact information.

Friendship Baptist Church
Pastors Mark Timmons and John Lane welcome you to Friendship Baptist Church (FBC) and invite you to worship with them each Sunday at 11 am. Bilingual services are held in English and Spanish on the 1st and 3rd Sunday every month. Holmes Avenue Baptist Church
Pastors Bryan Ayer and Walter Brigman welcome you to visit Holmes Avenue Baptist Church (HABC) to worship with them on Sundays at 11 am. Holmes Kids gather during the worship time for age-appropriate worship and teaching from newborn through grade 4.
