Opting out of wearing a Mask
The Charleston Bilingual Academy Task Force has made the decision, at this time, that all students, visitors, and teachers at Charleston Bilingual Academy should wear a mask or face shield at school. Through our ongoing discussions with area doctors and our Board, we believe this is one additional step we must take to slow or stop the spread of COVID during this peak time of transmission.
We understand there are some families who are strongly opposed to masks and face shields. So we are giving parents the option to opt-out of their student wearing a mask while attending school at CBA.
Parents, visitors, and teachers inside the school will still be required to wear masks at all times while inside the school.
If you DO NOT want your child to wear a mask, under any circumstance, while attending class or activities at Charleston Bilingual Academy, please check the box in the opt out form and enter your child’s name. Please complete the form for any of your children that you do not want to wear a mask in kindergarten through 5th grade.
Please ONLY FILL THIS OUT if you are opting out for your K-5 child.
